Welcome to the World of Curious Clara

A world of talking animals and objects, where reality meets fantasy, a world as seen through the eyes of a child and where adults only play a small supporting role.

Clara's world does not have any of the limitations or boundaries so often found in the world of grown-ups.  In Clara's world anything is possible.   Its a world full of interesting characters and places, with Clara's curiosity leading us into many adventures and happy endings.  

The First Series - The Amsterdam Adventures

The first series of books are set in and around Amsterdam.  Each adventure will introduce you to new characters and many familiar features that most residents and visitors to Amsterdam will recognize.

The First Book 

Curious Clara's first adventure, ''How Harry Got His Memory Back'', finds Clara at home in Amsterdam.  It starts on Lauriergracht in the famous Jordaan area of Amsterdam and takes her all the way to the North Sea, involving a fantastic ride over the city on the back of a seagull.   You'll meet two of Clara's friends, Harry the Heron and Harriet the swan, and discover what caused Harry to forget his name!
